Hamilton County, Indiana is America’s Best Place to Raise a Family according to Forbes…

It’s exciting to live in the #1 County in the nation. After living here over 50 years I feel blessed to have enjoyed all the amenities that Hamilton County has to offer. It has been a great place to raise my family and now they are raising their families here also.
Hamilton County’s excellent school districts, population, property taxes and SAT scores were the main areas that Hamilton County reached the top Forbes list of 20 counties..

Forbes officially ranked based on the following 10 points:
1. Cost of living
2. Home prices
3. Property tax rate as a percentage of median home price
4. Percentage of homes occupied by owner
5. Standardized scores
6. Graduation rate
7. Per-capita income
8. Air quality
9. Crime rate
10. Commute time

Hamilton County includes many communities, such as Carmel, Noblesville, Fishers, Westfield, Sheridan and Cicero
Hamilton County offers quaint communities, a terrific school system, great shopping, community parks, a short commute and low crime.

Four of its school districts – Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield and Hamilton Southeastern – have been recognized as some of the best in the state and the nation.

Noblesville was named one of the top 25 suburbs in America by BusinessWeek.com and one of the top 10 places to raise a family according to another publication.

Fishers was also recently cited as one of the best places to live in the nation by U.S. and Money magazines.

Noblesville and Fishers Rapid Transit Line...

Noblesville and Fishers residents who work downtown could have another option to the daily chore of commuting along I-69 towards downtown. A rapid transit line would run from Noblesville and Fishers to downtown Indianapolis during rush hour in the morning and evening and would coordinate with IndyGo buses to pick up commuters.

I am ready for a system that would give us relieve from the congestion that has come with the growth of the Hamilton County. Noblesville and Fishers are popular areas that attract a lot of buyers and as it continues to grow the traffic is going to get more congested.

Noblesville West Gateway Project

Developers to create a west gateway redevelopment plan for about 380 acres west of White River with the goal of creating a strong central district with the river at the middle, New Town to the west and Old Town to the east. I guess I am going to be living in the Old Town and that's okay with me.

The western portion of Noblesville along the White River has plans for commercial and residential development along with some parkland. Kelley said he would like to see mid-rise condominiums west of the river.

Commissioner Steve Dillinger, said a county study of a proposed bridge over White River at Pleasant Street fits into the plan, which gives Noblesville residents another option for crossing White River rather than driving into the Logan St. bridge or the Field Drive Bridge.

Imax Grand Opening

The much awaited opening of the new Imax Theater is scheduled to open on Friday April 4th.

While I am excited about the theater being closer to Noblesville, but I am not excited about the FREE movie they are showing on Saturday.

"The Golden Compass" has been a very contraversial movie among the Christian community. I just wish they had chosen a better movie to let children go to for FREE.

Please check out the website below for more information.
